We are blessed to have the opportunity to upcycle my husband, Anthony Rooney’s paint palettes and turn them into absolutely spectacular earrings. Our new jewelry collection is so rare and unique because of its story and so we want to share it with you!

My husband has been painting murals for Firehouse Subs for over 6 years. YES! the mural you see inside while ordering your delicious sub is hand painted right here in Jacksonville, Florida! Anthony paints under the OG master muralist himself, Mr. Joe Puskas, (along with a handful of other artists) at the Firehouse Subs Headquarters based in Jacksonville, Florida. Anthony’s paint palettes are unique because all that accumulation of dried acrylic latex paint is what was used to create the murals you see inside every Firehouse Subs store!

We dissect his paint palettes and slice them in a way that reveals the most psychedelic pattern we have ever seen occur naturally. Each earring is made up of layers and layers of laminated acrylic paint and you can clearly see these layers from two sides of the earring. Essentially each earring is a piece of Firehouse Sub mural history and we can’t get over how cool they are! To top it off they are so lightweight I forget that I am wearing them.
